Record bus service to coast extended

From Lynn News. Article By Louise Brain

A HUGE increase in passenger numbers has led to the Norfolk CoastHopper's summer time-table being extended to the end of the month.
Run for Norfolk County Council by Norfolk Green, the CoastHopper service has seen a 75 per cent increase in passenger numbers compared with the same period in 2007 – which was itself a record year.

The CoastHopper runs from Lynn to Cromer via Hunstanton, Wells and Sheringham and from April to June 2008 carried 72,000 passengers.

To meet increased demand the service now runs every half hour between Sheringham and Hunstanton, and is now served by six low-floor easy access buses. The summer timetable will now run to September 28.
