The Arriva 56 and X56 runs from Middlesborough through to Whitby, that charming fishing village on the North Yorkshire coast. The journey is not the most beautiful we have ever used but it does cover some nice pieces and takes 1 hour 50 mins. The X56 is somewhat quicker covering the route in about 1 and a half hours.
