A good ride is between Corby and Nottingham via Oakham. The routes are the RF1 (the Rutland Flyer) between Corby and Oakham via Uppingham, then the 19 from Oakham to Nottingham via Melton Mowbray. Each route is hourly and is operated by Veolia using single-deckers, usually modern low-floor ones. Both are pleasant rural rides through England's smallest county - Rutland.
