A route which runs between Liverpool and Manchester city centres travelling via both airports. Previously known as the 700 this route now runs via Warrington and Manchester Airport.

Arriva (Excel flight delay services)'s X2 timetable says bus pass accepted provided not full with pre-booked passengers.

On the web site it states "You are now able to reserve a seat for your concessionary pass at a cost of £5.00 per booking (1 booking fee covers 2 passes).
Alternatively you can just turn up on the bus, If seats are available, and travel free of charge." Terms of council at boarding point apply. This ticket does not entitle you to travel, pass must be shown to driver to validate travel.
