B1 : Slaidburn - Settle Shuttle

This new route operates a mostly two hourly Monday to Saturday daytime service connecting with Service B10/B11 at Slaidburn for journeys over the County boundary between North Yorkshire and Lancashire.  Serving Tosside, Rathwell and Wigglesworth this will provide a more regular link between Clitheroe and Settle.  This service will run throughout the summer and its operation assessed at the end of October.

Little Red Bus will run this service with a Low Floor Easy Access Bus, on behalf of Lancashire and North Yorkshire County Councils.

Bowland Transit Services B1, B10 and B11

Clitheroe - Slaidburn - Settle

The Bowland Transit provides a regular bus service between Clitheroe, Slaidburn and Settle, visiting places of interest and market towns throughout the beautiful countryside of the Forest of Bowland.

The low floor buses are easily accessible for wheelchair users, people with children in pushchairs, or with heavy shopping.

Services B10 and B11 link Clitheroe and Slaidburn, connecting with service B1 running between Slaidburn and Settle.

Service B10, which previously ran between Clitheroe, Slaidburn and Settle is replaced from 31st March 2008 by three separate services as follows:

-          Service B10 running as a circular service from Clitheroe via Whitewell, Dunsop Bridge, Newton, Slaidburn, Newton and Waddington back to Clitheroe.

-          Service B11 running as a circular service from Clitheroe via Waddington, Newton, Slaidburn, Newton, Dunsop Bridge, Whitewell and back to Clitheroe.

-          Service B1 running between Slaidburn and Settle

Services B10 and B11 each run approximately every two hours on Mondays to Saturday daytimes, providing one bus every hour between Clitheroe and Slaidburn.

Service B1 operates five or six journeys each way on Mondays to Saturdays, connecting at Slaidburn with services B10 and B11.

On Summer Saturdays and Bank Holiday Mondays service B10 connects with service 809 to Malham Tarn and Malham.
