CORNWALL The majority of bus services in Cornwall are provided by just two bus companies: - First Devon & Cornwall (and their Truronian subsidiary) who run mainly in South and West Cornwall and along the border with Devon;
- Western Greyhound who provide a comprehensive network of interconnecting services throughout North and East Cornwall.
'Western Greyhound' are a vigourous new operator in Cornwall, particularly in the Newquay area. I have no personal experience of them, but have heard nothing bus good reports. They are rapidly taking over from First Group who seem mired in incompetence and apathy in this area (their services cannot be recommended). http://www.westerngreyhound.com/ for some ideas (map available). Cornwall County Council maintains an excellent public transport website at www.cornwallpublictransport.info which includes timetables for all bus services in the county and also publishes a series of area timetable booklets as well.
